Called in for a pick up order for a large pizza, 1/2 meat and 1/2 mushroom. I picked up and it was ready by the time I picked it up. The restaurant is small inside. It is very nice though. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the toppings are high quality. The pizza was filled with toppings. The cheese was also high quality, along with the sauce, perfect amount too. As I was picking up, I was asked if I wanted some candles, he said they are delicious. I declined but said next time. I highly recommend Capo Pazzos Pizzaria and will definitely be going back when in town.

We got Capo for the first time tonight and it was delicious! The pizza was thin and crispy, Ceasar and chicken cutlet excellent, especially the bread. What really surprised us though was the wings. They were absolutely amazing and the best wings I’ve had here in the area. Sauce was amazing and cooked perfect. We got an order for pick up and I left something inside by mistake and the lovely folks ran out to the car for me, flagging me down by name. Next time we’ll eat there so the food is extra warm! We are already ready to go back.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, you’ll miss this place if you aren’t looking for it. But trust me, you do not want to miss it. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and whether you sit inside or outside, you’re in for something special. Now for the best part… the pizza. We eat pizza about once a week and it’s my husband’s favorite food. We brought our granddaughter with us, and pizza is her favorite too. She immediately knew what she wanted: mushrooms and pepperoni. Done. As for us? We had no idea where to start. We ordered the Wise Guy: vodka sauce base, sesame seed crust, spicy soppressata, ricotta, fresh basil, and Calabrian chili hot honey. We also asked our server for their favorite recommendation and ordered the Vodka-Roni: vodka sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, burrata cheese, and fresh basil. Were we dreaming? This is hands down the best pizza we have ever had anywhere in the world. New York pizza? Sorry… step aside. You’ve officially been removed from our top three. They are now #1. Awesome customer service and great food… the Salad was amazing and had great homemade dressing.. the pizza was fresh and crunchy crust.. the pizza sauce is homemade and very tasty.. if you are looking for a good place to get a pizza check this out… Definitely highly recommended it..

Great NYC style pizza! They were rated the best pizza in Sarasota for 2025. We are from NY, had a lot of NYC pizza. This one is excellent! Also amazing homemade meatballs, House made sauces are absolutely DELICIOUS. Cant wait to come back and try more things on the menu.
